Not that Venom isn't a visually impressive and fairly badass character, but an hour and a half of pure Venom action doesn't sound all that appealing. Potential for continuity between this and Spiderman 4 promising, though. That'd be the best way to make a great dark film and capitalize on Brock/Venom's obsession with protecting the innocent.
